Hello and welcome!
After several "wonderful" years in Portugal, my wife and I have now officially begun a new chapter of our lives in Davao City, Philippines — her beautiful hometown on the island of Mindanao.
In October 2025, we successfully settled here and couldn’t be happier with how smoothly everything turned out. What was once a dream has now become reality — surrounded by a welcoming community, tropical nature, and a slower, more mindful pace of life.
Although I plan to take early retirement in 2027, I’ll continue working as a freelancer, focusing on projects that offer complete geographic flexibility. This approach allows me to stay professionally active while fully embracing the freedom and inspiration that come with an international lifestyle.
Over the years, I’ve successfully worked across multiple time zones — including Google-related projects with VACO LLC, where I collaborated from Lisbon while operating in the Los Angeles PST time zone. These experiences proved my ability to deliver reliable results in a global, fully remote environment.
Since November 20, 2025, I’ve also been working as an external Education Support for a German online training provider now entirely remote from the Philippines. I assist participants in professional development programs, particularly in the area of MS 365, and help them navigate their learning journey. This role has strengthened my communication skills and deepened my expertise in guiding adult learners.
Earlier in my career, I gained valuable hands-on experience in production management, site supervision, and assembly coordination — roles that helped me build strong leadership abilities, technical understanding, and a solid organizational mindset. Transitioning fully into remote work has allowed me to combine these strengths with a flexible, location-independent lifestyle.
After settling in Davao City, my wife and I are now focused on building a stable new chapter in Southeast Asia. I continue to seek fully remote opportunities that align with our long-term plans and allow me to contribute my skills to meaningful projects worldwide.
